ONE-WAY 2025

One-Way cruises are part of a larger event that we are organizing from March 29 to April 26 on two vessels – a catamaran and a monohull yacht – we are taking a COURSE FOR ADVENTURE.

We complete the expedition in three stages – we sail together, starting from Tenerife
and ending on the picturesque island of Mallorca.

Tenerife San Miguel de Abona – Gibraltar

We invite you to take part in an extraordinary ocean cruise in Atlantic waters on a well-equipped Lagoon 40 catamaran (solar panels, radar, AIS, RIB pontoon) and high performance yacht Bavaria 51.

We have several days of sailing ahead of us with no port calls and no visibility of land. We have more than 970 Mm to go.

We will start our adventure in a sunny marina in the south of Tenerife (Marina Amarilla San Miguel de Abona) from where we will set off towards the picturesque island of Gran Canaria. Depending on weather conditions, we will sail around the island from the south or north to reach the capital “Las Palmas” where we will stop in the cult, the largest marina in the Canaries, Puerto Deporvido de Las Palmas (known, among others, for the ARC regatta).

After exploring the tradition-rich city, we’ll cast our moorings and set off on a long-distance cruise to the hard-to-reach, “Selvagens Islands” national park that is a reserve for many species of birds. With luck, there will be a chance to see the breeding ground of Petrels.

There we will feel the extraordinary wilderness and nature where the open ocean and the sharp rocks of the archipelago come together. There are only two people living on the Main Island, whose job is to observe the animals.

After an exciting stop, we will raise anchor and set course for the land of eternal spring that is Madeira, to the island’s capital and main port of Funchal.

With favorable weather conditions, we should have enough time to spend a full day exploring this beautiful island.

The next step is a relatively short sailing to the island of Porto Santo, famous for its unusually long, beautiful sandy beach. There we will go to the natural pools of “Salemas“, Terra Cha National Park and rest before the longest ocean cross of the Porto Santo – Gibraltar route.

The last step is about 4 good days of sailing without stops. It will be a great opportunity to meet numerous species of mammals and birds … and unforgettable sunrises and sunsets.

We will end the cruise in the marina Alcaidesa, located near the Rock of Gibraltar.

We recommend staying a little longer after the cruise in Gibraltar to visit the monkey reserve and the interesting city of Gibraltar.

The route to be covered is about 970nm (160h).

Several days of sailing along the Spanish coast are ahead of us. The cruise will be focused on learning and improving sailing skills, both at sea and in the ports we visit. Although the sight of land will not leave us, we will focus more on yacht life and communing with the sea than on land attractions.

If Neptune permits, we plan to visit several Spanish ports and bays and visit the most interesting attractions in them. We plan to see:

  • The Rock of Gibraltar with the mogotes that live there, we will also toast with Guinness “to a lucky rescue” 😉
  • Cabo de Gata Park. The remains of the Gothic Catedral de Santa Maria la Vieja in Cartagena
  • The white town of Mojacar, with fantastic views of the sea and the surrounding area.
  • The icing on the cake will be the Alcazaba in Almeria, which is the largest fortress of its kind in Spain; “Game of Thrones” was filmed here, among other things.

Main highlights of the cruise:

  • opportunity to get a lot of sea experience
  • sailing in a flotilla, we sail in 2 units!
  • Gibraltar – the famous hill + mogot monkeys (keep an eye on your cameras and sandwiches!)
  • beautiful Andalusian coastline
  • lots of sunshine, pleasant temperatures
  • excellent cuisine: fish, seafood and regional wine
  • luxury catamaran and yacht

And here’s the final leg of the sailing event as the yachts set sail together in an easterly direction. We’ll meet on the first day of the cruise in the picturesque Port of Alicante, take a stroll along the long promenade and check out the specialties offered by the local cuisine. We’ll set the cruise plan for the next few days, do some quick shopping and… on our way!

We want to visit the most important ports and the most beautiful places in Ibiza and Mallorca, as well as the Cabrera National Park.

The Balearic Islands captivate not only with their beauty, but also with their diversity.

  • A stop will be at the islet of Formentera, famous for its long sandy beaches and amazing views.
  • In Ibiza we will see the monumental cliffs and the old town of the same name. We will get to know the island from this lesser-known, natural and historical side. After sightseeing and resting we will sail to Cabrera, a tiny limestone island untouched by civilization, surrounded by crystal clear waters – this National Park is one of the most beautiful corners of the archipelago.
  • Off the coast of Mallorca, golden beaches, romantic anchorages in rocky bays and the vine-covered steep slopes of the Serra de Tramuntana await us – and that’s just part of the attractions.
  • Finally, after disembarking, we recommend seeing the port of Alcudia and the old town of Alcudia, the viewpoint of Alcanada, Cape Formentor, the old town of Pollenca
